So as I have found out these past few weeks there is a LOT of "stuff" you need for a Kindergarten/First grade classroom (even though my Dad seems convinced I can entertain these 5 and 6 year olds with my charisma. he's a seminary professor, enough said).
Well I thought as I have zero time to garage sale...maybe there are people out there just waiting in anticipation to give away any old toys/crafts to a needy first year teacher!
If so, keep reading! If not, read anyways and feel sorry for me needing so much random stuff! :)
Currently I am in want of:
1. Plastic play food and kitchen accessories. I have a kitchen set--but that's it.
2. Beanies babies: Kangaroo, Owl, Quail (or any brown bird), Weasel, alligator, and a yak. (Zoo Phonics memorabilia)
3. Matchbox cars/trucks/etc...
4. Playdough accessories
5. Children's books
6. Anything fun for a classroom :)
Any items donated you can count as a tax reduction! Well, actually I doubt it, but you will get a big smile from yours truly :)
