Summer Goals

Every summer I try to come up with some goals I want to accomplish (that's just the kind of person I am I guess!). Last summer I had one goal--"GET MARRIED!" and that one was successfully done! Well with summer beginning for me tomorrow I thought I would sit down and think about what I want to all learn, try, and do! My hope is that by blogging these goals I will be more apt to remember to accomplish them--along with a few nudges and reminders of course :)
  • Goal 1: Find a job! (and sooner rather than later please!)
  • Goal 2: Learn to golf--at least how to swing a club without pulling a muscle or frustrating my husband.
  • Goal 3: Make a wedding album! After making one for my mother and mother-in-law I think it's about time I make one for myself!
  • Goal 4: Learn how to cook. (okay, so I know how to cook--but not that well so practice would be good!)
  • Goal 5: Buy all produce at the local farmer's market. (I've always wanted to go there, but have not yet!)
  • Goal 6: Go camping! (Funny goal, I know....but I never really went camping that much growing up and I always wanted to!)
  • Goal 7: Run 5 miles without dying--I once could do this, but am shamefully not in that condition anymore!
  • Goal 8: Get on track with devotions--unfortunately this always gets booted out of my "busy" schedule and I'd love to get it back on track! (let me know if you have any good suggestions of books to use)
  • Goal 9: Try bare-footing again--I do it about once every summer and get a little scared of the falls....but it's time to be brave!
  • Goal 10: HAVE FUN OF COURSE!
Let me know if you have any other good things I should try--always love doing something new!
Allie :)

  2. We often go to the fulton street farmers market and absolutely love it. The produce is really fresh and there is so much of it that the prices for most of it (especially during peek seasons) are equivalent to or cheaper than you would find in the grocery stores. It's open 8am -3pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and I recommend going earlier rather than later. I hope you love it like we do!
